"I can't say enough about this place or the owners. It's just a cute little spot in the hillside. It's quaint, peaceful and a little out of the way. My husband and I came across it while Door dashing when we first got to the area from Tennessee almost a year ago. We had reached an incredibly difficult time in our lives and starting over from scratch. All we had were a few personal things, our dogs , each other and the smallest crumb of hope left. I fell in love with the energy and style of the motel. After establishing employment we called them up and booked ourselves a room..... At check in I just knew we were in the right place. Bruce is the "man of the house " but Katie runs the show! They have been so amazing! Very down to earth, relatable and honestly, rare gems for business owners. I've never experienced so much compassion and genuinely caring and understanding from people running a business literally making a living with plenty of their own stuff on their plate and still have this way of making it feel like home, like a little family, a little community right here. And Katie absolutely goes above and beyond to help out anyone who is in need. She even volunteers at the local food pantry now and then. Super outgoing and makes feel right at home. You have a concern or complaint, and they are both on it immediately. No body is perfect. And people have hard times. They are no different and they understand that. I couldn't have asked for a better place with better people to call home while we start over and get back on our feet. Definitely a treasured time in my life I'll be telling all my grandkids about when have some. All it takes is respect, honesty, integrity, and good old fashioned friendly, hardworking, positive attitude, be considerate and pay your rent and you're golden! If you haven't figured it out yet but made it this far, I absolutely recommend staying here. Space is limited but hey will definitely do their best to accommodate your lodging needs. And don't forget to check out Katie's little gift shop in the main office!"
